Dr. Robert Bell, D.M.D
Dr. Bell was born in Lakeland and is a third-generation native Floridian. He has fond memories of watching movies at the Polk Theater and skating on the wooden skating rink at the Armory. Weekends meant swimming in the cold water at Crystal Springs, eating a slice of freshly cut cold watermelon, and attending his church where he was a choir member. After graduating with High Honors from Lake Gibson High School he attended Polk Community College and then USF "Go Bulls" where he earned his BS degree (1984) in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He was accepted at several dentistry programs but ultimately decided to be a Florida Gator. He graduated in 1988 with his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Being true to his childhood roots Dr. Bell decided he wanted to have a small practice in Lakeland. He learned early on from his mentor, Dr. Benjamin Hardin, that a patient wants a doctor that will take the time to listen to their concerns and will prescribe only the treatment they need. Quality, Integrity, and Compassion are what Dr. Bell strives to achieve with every patient he treats.
Jenny Gregory, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jenny has 32 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She graduated from New York City College of Technology with an AS degree in Dental Hygiene. Her experience includes both general dentistry and periodontics. She enjoys educating and helping her patients establish good oral health habits. She is friendly, motivated, and strives to make her patients comfortable. She understands many health problems are a result of poor oral health. Her goal is to help you practice good oral health every day to ensure you reach your optimal oral health.
Janelle Thomas, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janelle has 18 years of experience as a dental hygienist and has worked with Dr. Bell since 2007. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2002 with an AS degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys getting to know her patients and assisting them in achieving their oral health goals. She educates them to understand having a healthy mouth is a part of having overall good health. A healthy mouth, a healthy you is her goal.
Laci O'Neill, EFDA
Dental Assistant/Office Manager
Laci has worked with Dr. Bell since 2001. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Tampa, FL as a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has worked in several other practices where she has gained valuable experience in various areas of dentistry, including periodontal disease, maintenance, and surgery. She is the office manager and the one that keeps her finger on the pulse of daily operations.
Katie Mason, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Kaitlin "Katie" is our newest team member. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Tampa, FL as a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has a positive attitude and a desire to make your experience stress free.
