Reshaping (contouring)
Tooth reshaping, also known as dental contouring, is a cosmetic dental procedure that is best used when there is a small imperfection or where subtle changes to the teeth are needed. Problems like slightly overlapping teeth, tiny chips in the teeth, or excessively pointy cuspids (canines) can often be fixed with this procedure. During the procedure, a small amount of tooth enamel is removed in order to change the shape, length, or surface of one or more teeth. Bonding is often used in conjunction with this procedure to achieve a more pleasing shape of the tooth and improve your smile.
